On Windows, you'll have to install the h.264 codec. You can set up Reaper to be able to export h.264 MOV with AAC audio. The Music plays along the timeline but the video file just freezes?ĭoes anyone have any tips, on exporting video with a track and the best render settings for the social media age within Reaper? Or do i use something else? Secondly when I get the video into Reaper (I have QT installed) its a. I have lined up the video and music, but am not sure on the best format and render settings for social media particularly Instagram? I tried a MP4 render but instagram wouldn't load it? Then turn the volume down on the video and place a stereo track underneath thats mastered (my own for copyright reasons). The cropping (either end) could be taken care by Instagram once its loaded?īasically, I want to film something on my iPhone, then drag it into Reaper PC. I don't really need any editing just the video and my music underneath. Its not very as featureful as the one in Logic and Reaper but is prone less to that phasing effect at extreme BPM changes, imo.Įither way from 95 to 97 BPM is something that Flex Time can do without any noticeable quality differences.I want to do some quick hand held videos for Instagram/Facebook/Twitter etc and think that Reaper maybe the best editor to quickly add Audio to my video. The best sounding realtime timestretch to my ears in a DAW is the one in Reason 6. Some have a newer version (I think version 2) which Reaper uses, it sounds a bit better but not drastically so, imo. However they don't all have the same version of the algorithm. Live, Logic, Pro Tools, and Reaper all license the same algorithm from zplane. Reaper's is as good or better than any other DAW and it's an uncrippled free trial.I've tested this actually across all the DAWs I own and didn't find any major differences between most DAWs that used the same Elastique Pro algorithm. I love both progs but I would never use Logic for any serious time stretching. It's time-stretching absolutely destroys Logic's.
